Dear members,

 

As we enter our 21st season, Concert Singers of Cary is continuing to push
the creative boundaries and have an exciting year planned.  To help us make
our plans a reality (and to give me a break!) we have budgeted for a Concert
Coordinator position for next year.  This individual will handle all the
marketing and logistical aspects of concert planning and production for the
CSC-produced events.  Please take a look at the job description below and

Concert Coordinator

 

Part-Time-As needed, approx. 5-7 hours per week

Salary-$3100 per year, paid quarterly (contract position)

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The concert coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of concert
production for Concert Singers of Cary-produced events for symphonic Choir,
Chamber Choir, CSC Chorale and Choral Artists.

 

This includes but is not limited to: 

*	coordination with host facility for equipment availability and
set-up including space for singers and musicians and tickets sales
*	manage ticket sales
*	coordinate all event day duties including managing volunteers
*	oversee program production and implementation of marketing efforts
in conjunction with volunteers including meeting publication deadlines and
ensuring timely publicity of event
*	manages concert payment distributions
*	technical arrangements for concert recording as needed
*	other concert-related duties as assigned.  

 

This position reports to the Artistic Director with accountability to the
Executive Director for budgetary considerations.

 

Requirements include:

*	Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*	Excellent attention to detail
*	Ability to manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
*	Excellent interpersonal skills
*	Ability to lift up to 20lbs. unassisted
