Dear Choir,

 

I have been asked to let you know that there are two items available to you
on the website.

 

Firstly, on the title page near the bottom is a PDF of our season brochure.
You can ether download a copy or send a link to anyone who you would like to
make aware of what CSC is up to.

 

Secondly, on the membership page are MIDI files for some of our Von Trapp
concert selections. We will add more when they are available. You must first
login and look for the link to practice files.

 

I also want to put in a plug for this weekend's remaining five performances
of Stomp: Pandemonium, The Lost and Found Orchestra that involve a cameo by
28 of our singers during the Finale. You have likely received our emails
promoting the performances at Memorial Auditorium. What I want to tell you
is that this show is extraordinary. Many of you know the work of Stomp for
their percussion and that is in full view here, but they have now added
brass wind and stringed instruments (all made with salvaged items in the
Stomp tradition) that are combined with dance and other physical movement.
The result is spell binding and creative in ways that I hadn't imagined. The
concert tickets are $30 for all seats but we can get a price of $20 if you
use the link below. That's just a few dollars more than what we charge. All
tickets sold through this link pass on a $2.50 rebate to the Concert
Singers. Please note that you will be prompted for a code which is CHOIR. We
hope to see you there!
