Dear Choir,

 

Please share the information below with anyone that you know would like to
attend our concert on October 23rd. To make things easy for any CSC members
who wish to purchase tickets, Sarah Preston will be at the box office window
at the Herb Young Center on September 13th and 20th from 7:00 - 7:30 just
prior to our rehearsals.

Sophie vonTrapp and The von Trapp Children featuring the Concert Singers of
Cary and the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra

Sofia, Melanie, Amanda, and Justin von Trapp are the great-grandchildren of
Captain von Trapp, father of the famous singing family whose story
captivated the world in the musical The Sound of Music. Carrying on their
family's traditions, the siblings travel the world, sharing their
exceptional musical gifts through folk and classical songs from European and
American traditions, as well as timeless pieces from The Sound of Music.
They have recorded six albums and a DVD. Their latest recording is entitled
A Capella.
